Non – Diving Activities

These are FREE activities for resort guests., available first come, first served. Paddle in front of the resort, around the bay, or through the nearby mangroves.

This is a 3-hour trip starting at 5:00 PM. Learn traditional fishing methods and local ocean knowledge.

PHP 600 per person

Located on a historic cattle ranch in Masbate—known as the Philippines’ “cowboy country”—guests can enjoy ponies and grazing cows around the resort. Pony Riding is FREE for resort guests and around the resort. PHP 300 per hour if outside resort premises. Just ask reception.

The mangrove river beside Ticao Island Resort is still one of the few areas in the world with fireflies a plenty and is a nice and simple evening activity. This is a guided activity and will last for about 1.5 to 2 hours.

PHP 400 per person

The Whale Shark Snorkeling activity in Donsol, is best done en route from Legazpi to Ticao Island or from Ticao Island to Legazpi as you may pass Donsol on your way in or out of the resort.

From November to June, whale sharks are in the waters of Ticao Pass and Donsol Bay. Donsol has become a favorite snorkeling area for continuously being home to the world’s largest congregation of whale sharks in a natural environment. Snorkeling with whale sharks is an exciting activity which is recommended to be done en route from Legazpi to Ticao Island or from Ticao Island to Legazpi. Group schedule assembly time is at 0730H.

PHP2,500 per person (on group boat basis)

Explore northern islands, limestone formations, lagoons, waterfalls, and white sand beaches. Includes boat, guide, snorkeling gear, and environmental fees. Tour runs for 5-6 hours. Lunch included for guests with full board meal arrangements; others can order separately.

Visit Bongsanglay Nature Reserve, Bongsanglay Marine Sanctuary, and Snake Island. Includes large boat, guide. Tour runs for 9-10 hours. Lunch is included for guests wtih full board meal arrangements; others can order separately. . Entrance and cottage fees paid on site.

Large boat (up to 10): PHP 17,000

Discover the river’s wonders. Leave late in the afternoon before sun down to join the village local cast down his net. When the sun is about to set, admire the birds and wildlife who have made the mangroves their home. As night sets admire the firefly’s as the light up the trees and before heading back to the resort, re-join with the village local as you check your catch for the evening.

The Mayon Volcano activities in Legazpi, is best done en route from Legazpi to Ticao Island or from Ticao Island to Legazpi as you may pass Legazpi City on your way in or out of the resort.

Feel the majesty of Mayon Volcano. Drive an ATV to the Lava Wall of Mayon Volcano. This ultimate adventure rush takes you through gullies, rivers, and fallen rock. The entire trail is made by nature – made by the fury of Mayon . Trek up Mayon Volcano following the Farmer’s Trail. You will pass through grasslands, gullies, and vegetable farms. The higher you get the more beautiful the view and more majestic Mayon Volcano becomes. Can’t decide which one to do? Do both with our ATV + Trek option.

Town Tours let you explore the island by land and enjoy scenic nature spots. Rates are per person on a motorbike riding behind the driver, per tricycle, or per van. Entrance fees are not included and must be paid on site. Entrance fee: PHP 50 per person

*San Jacinto—Visit the town proper and the inland falls (3-4 hours).
